Find out about Fuel Aid
With the financial losses that the pandemic has left, along with the Financial crisis which is being aggravated by the war between Russia and Ukraine, making oil more expensive, this aid was planned to help workers who use fossil fuel-based vehicles.
The program's target audience is taxi drivers, motoboys, app drivers and others who fit into certain categories.
Causalities are causing a lot of variation in the prices that the final consumer pays for products such as cooking gas and natural gas.
A maximum value of R$ 3 billion. The program will modify the ICMS tax, which falls on diesel, cooking gas, natural gas, ethanol, gasoline and biodiesel.
According to Senator Prates' speech, there was not much clarity about the precedence of the financial resources that will be destined to the program, however, he declared that the functioning will depend on budgetary, fiscal and financial possibilities.
The program must make a change and be integrated into the CEP (Fuel Price Stabilization Account).
By law, it is forbidden for new concessions of tax advantages to come into effect in election years, except in cases of public calamity, state of emergency, programs permitted by law and programs already in progress from other years.
