After Malhação, Sergio continued at Globo with a role in “Pé na Jaca” (2006) and then went to Record to do “Bela, a Feia” (2009), his last soap opera. In 2014, he tried to return to TV as a reporter for “Video Show”, but was dismissed months after being hired.
